Inside Sales Position (Software Sales)
Position: Inside Sales - Software - Grid and Cloud Computing
Position Location: Markham (GTA), ON, Canada office
Position Overview:
Univa is searching for a self-motivated individual to join our successful team as an Inside Sales Representative.
We are searching for an energetic, motivated, self-starter with an
entrepreneurial spirit to help us take our business to new levels. You
will report directly to the Vice President of Sales. This sales
opportunity will use your communication skills to contact prospective
clients and generate interest in our solutions. We are looking for
ambitious individuals who exude confidence, with a proven sales track
record and have a talent for selling. This opportunity offers you an
opportunity to grow into other sales positions within the company, such
as outside sales or inside sales management.
Responsibilities:
- Master Univa’s system for selling using email and telephone
selling activities, as well as leveraging existing partner
relationships.
- Meet a weekly sales call target, successful
trials target and provide details on communications with clients and
sales funnel progression using Salesforce.com (CRM system), as well as
to management
- Make at least 75 calls to prospective clients per day
- Understand customer needs, set up or appointments for our outside sales and close sales within the assigned territory.
- Work closely with your outside sales counterparts to develop and execute territory and specific account plans
- Stay current with your product knowledge of Univa’s solution
Qualifications:
- 2 years of sales experience with demonstrated achievement of quota and/or revenue goals along with a passion for selling
- Software sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven experience working with computers and/or software applications like Microsoft Office
Competency and Requirements:
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment, self starter who can work with minimal direct supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to listen and respond to salient issues raised by clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including a clear telephone
voice, as well as strong organization skills and ability to juggle many
balls in the air at one time
- Strong problem solving, objection
handling and negotiation skills and ability to perform duties at a high
rate of speed and with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
